We have listed the most commonly asked questions of Encore Consignment Gallery in hopes that they will answer your questions.  However, if you have questions that are not listed, please feel free to email them to info@encorestl.net or call us at (636) 220-9092.  Naturally you are always welcome to visit our store.  You might find something.  We have something for everybody at Encore Consignment Gallery, located at 287 Lamp & Lantern Village, Town & Country, MO 63017

What does it cost to consign items at Encore?



The cost is based on a percentage of the sales price.  If we sell the item in the first sixty days consignor is paid fifty percent of the sales prices, not including sales tax.  If items sell after the sixty first day, but not to exceed ninety days consignor is paid forty five percent of the sales price, not including sales tax.  Items sold after ninety days, consignor is paid forty percent.  Please refer to the Consignment Agreement for more details or email us at info@encorestl.net.

Can we receive store credit instead of a check for the sale of our items?



Yes!  In fact, you will receive an additional ten percent (10%) of the sale of item (s) toward store credit.  This is a Consign & Shop store.

What if I consign item (s) and then change my mind?
 

You are free to change your mind.  However, in order to compensate us for our efforts and marketing expense, there is a charge that must be paid prior to retreiving your item (s).  Please refer to the Consignment Agreement for more details.

What if I want to donate the item (s) or proceeds to charity?

Naturally, you are free to do what you want to do with your item (s) and/or money or we can accept that responsibility for you and provide you with the tax form necessary to take the deduction.  We work with charites frequently on abandoned item (s) and proceeds that are to be given to the needy.  It's that time to be giving.  For more information please refer to the Consignment Agreement or email info@encorestl.net.

How is the sale price of the item (s) determined?

We will suggest a price based on our knowledge of the market.  Our staff is trained and experienced in this field.  Their knowledge will help you sell your item (s) at a fair price.  Our objective and goal is to sell your item (s) as soon as possible.  Our experience will yield you a fair price.  However, if you disagree with our price, we are willing to work with you to obtain the best price.
